  • Environmental Standard

We build our strings with the same discipline we bring to tone and feel.  That includes how they're made and what happens after you're done with them.  Our goal is simple: prioritize Canadian materials, our Canadian economy and manufacture responsibly.

Canada produces some of the most environmentally responsible steel in the world. Much of it is made using electric arc furnaces powered by hydroelectric energy, utilizing recycled scrap and generating significantly lower emissions than traditional blast furnace production. We prioritize sourcing within that system whenever possible, and when we look internationally, we partner only with suppliers who meet the same environmental standards and contribute meaningfully to Canada's economy.

Because how something is made matters.

Built to Be Recycled

Guitar strings are 100% recyclable and so is our packaging. Used strings can be dropped at metal recycling depots or participating music retailers. If you're local to Calgary, we'll take them back directly. Metal should remain in circulation, not the landfill.

Packaging With Intent

Strings must be sealed in an airtight environment to prevent corrosion. Protection matters, but excess doesn't.  We use a single-envelope, food-grade recyclable package with a resealable airtight closure. No secondary wrapping, no unnecessary layers, no chemical anti-corrosion treatments.  Just clean protection that keeps your strings fresh — and keeps unnecessary materials out of the waste stream.

Reuse it. Recycle it. Your choice.

We believe music can be powerful without being wasteful.

Precision. Performance. Responsibility. That's the standard.
